About Us

Who are we?

                                                 VAIL is a Center for Independent Living (CIL). CILs offer expertise in disability laws and accessing community based services and funding. Most importantly, CILs provide a cross-disability, consumer-directed perspective that promotes choice and self advocacy. At least 51% of the staff and board of directors are people with disabilities to ensure that people with disabilities play an integral role in shaping the services that impact their lives.
